Innovative potential as factor in strategic development of economy of the northern regions

In the article the innovative potential as a factor of strategic development of economy of the North is considered, its main components are investigated: manpower, science funding, the state initiatives in the field of innovations. As a result the main objectives and tasks of the development of innovative capacity of industry in the North are defined. It is noted that the great value for realization of innovations has skillful stimulation of scientific and technical potential, use of available reserves in the work.
