World experience of agro-tourism

In the article distinctive features and types of agro-tourism are allocated, the features of definitions of agro-tourism in foreign countries are revealed. The main definitions and the main concepts of development of agro-tourism are presented, the geography of distribution of regions of rural tourism in the world is shown, and the examples of national associations of rural tourism are given. The conclusion that the countries having positive experience of agro-tourism, there are countries which are actively absorbing this experience, including the Russian Federation is drawn.
