Eastern gas program: serious calculation or political game?

Sakhalin, Kamchatka, Kovykta, gas-pipe "Sakhalin-Vladivostok" and Vladivostok's LNG plant - eastern projects of OJSC "Gazprom" demonstrate the expectations of this corporation to be serious actors on the gas market of PAC. But the most than ten-years prehistory of the realization of a large-scale gas projects in RF demonstrate, that priorities of investment program of corporation, formally are controlled by government, can be fast and diametrically changed under the influence of political factors. The questions: whether "east policy" will remove dependence of the Russian gas branch on the market of Europe, whether it will serve as "locomotive" of development of Eastern Siberia and the Far East to Russia - subject of this analysis.
