The article is devoted to the analysis of financing of agricultural production in the Republic of Mordovia. Efficiency of the budgetary support of agriculture, the mechanism of crediting of agricultural producers, and also the leasing relations in agro-industrial complex of the region are analyzed. Social and economic consequences of limitation of financial support of agricultural production, high level of poverty and poor quality of life in rural areas are defined.
