There are three ways of Russian strategy: Russia is part of West, Russia is separate part of the world, and Russia is part of East. Western is already unpopular idea, but western influence has long history, positive and negative sides. Without Europe it was impossible existence Russian state: culture, technology, people and elite were imported for Russian state needs. Due to the factor Russia improved security and took eastern lands. Great role of western influence was interpreted as Russian weakness and leads to military conflicts and catastrophic sequences both Europe and Russia.
