Regional trends shaping resource potential of agricultural sector area

In the article the problem of system research of resource potential of regional agrarian production is considered. The developed territorial features are revealed. Research of regional tendencies of formation of resource potential of agrarian sector of economy of the North Caucasian economic region is carried out. It is noted that in the majority of subjects of the Southern Federal District the potential is lower, than in NCFA regions though about a level of development of agrarian production it is possible to make the opposite conclusion.
