In the article with a view of improvement of management by supply in diversified diversified holdings on the basis of the analysis of practice of functioning of trading houses in the Russian industrial holdings, foreign experience of universal trading company's need of specialization of activity of trading houses on supply or sale is proved. Proceeding from problems of supply distribution of supply functions in the holding and the list of indicators of an assessment of efficiency of purchasing activity of trading houses are proved
