In the article it is proved a role of the ecological factor in maintenance of successful positioning of companies on the market. Opportunities of this marketing tool on maintenance of competitiveness of the enterprises on a basis of ecologization of manufactures are reflected. Features of the international and domestic security in the chemical industry are allocated. Dependence of result of positioning of the companies on activity in the field of ecological policy on production is presented.
