In the article the approach to formation of the unified system of ecological monitoring of economic-territorial systems is presented. Questions of functional mission of actions of ecological monitoring are considered, its problems in the conditions of decrease in efficiency of state regulation of rational wildlife management and ecologization relations of production are defined.
