The Arctic zone of the Russian Federation doesn’t exist isolated from the Russian Federation and the World. Prospects and scenarios of development are caused by positive and negative trends, internal and external factors. The present paper is based on results of multidisciplinary analysis of these factors, which allows to determinate objective prerequisites for rapid progress in way of innovative sustainable growth of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
