Directions of development of a small town in modern industrial region

In modern Russia small towns are behind in their development as compared with big cities. There are considerable differences in first conditions and possibilities of commercial reorganizations. State economical policy modification promotes positive development of small towns, but they never get over a crisis if there will be no corrections in this policy. Concrete ways of revival and further consolidation of small towns are presented in the article.
