In the article it is marked planned Russia's WTO accession, actualized the problem of increasing the competitiveness of manufacturing and production, primarily in the context of compliance with environmental standards. Currently, the industry should carry out transition to a new level of technology and legislation on environmental protection.The trend of convergence of Russian and international environmental legislation is supported by partnership and cooperation agreement between Russia and the EU, the provisions of the "Road map" for the common economic space, adopted at the EU-Russia summit.
