Current stage of economic development: the procrustean bed of modernization

It is shown that after twenty years since after planned economy destruction Russia has made a long jump into market economy. The analysis of a current situation testifies that the state of affairs leaves much to be desired and revival of economy can be tightened for the uncertain period. As a result of modernization Russia can get stuck in a continuous train of reforms.
