The paper is devoted to the comparative analysis of fixed assets’ reproduction process in farms of different economic size and specialization in the Baltic States concerning aspects of economic and food safety. The data and methods are obtained from Farm Accounting Data Network. The conclusion has been made about excessive polarization of reproduction in small and large farms. It reveals that there are different preconditions for realization of innovative development projects in the Baltic agrarian sector. Some suggestions have been formulated with the aim of improving the reproduction process and increasing the effectiveness of agricultural production.
