Russian agrarian protectionism in the global financial crisis

The authors analyze the impact of the global financial crisis on the agricultural policy in Russia and other countries around the world: the global economic downturn agricultural sector has become one of the highest priorities for protectionist efforts by Governments. The mechanism of protection of the food market in Russia remains low efficiency and instability in the context of growing food dependency.
