Socio-economic and environmental security of the population of Maritime Dagestan

The article is based on the materials of the questionnaire about one thousand villagers Dagestan coast of Caspian Sea. The survey was conducted on a structured questionnaire and allowed to analyze the impact of socio-political, economic and environmental factors on the respondents' perception of modern trends in oil and gas exploration of the Caspian Sea - each of them individually, the totality and in their various combinations. The result of the study was to identify a range of subjective and objective factors that can seriously affect the environment within the Rural Seaside Dagestan, where existing projects were planned activity of oil and gas monopolies.
