The article deals with issues of food safety. Particular attention is given to the management systems that can prevent risks at different movement stages of the food products from their production to consumption. These systems serve as mechanisms that improve the processes of corporate governance, as well as for increasing quality of products and create economic development prospects. Based on the currently existing global trends and approaches to the formation of the company food safety management systems author offers his views on the organization of such systems in the framework of integrated management system.
