Problems of using strategic resource marketing in the Russian fishery are described in presented paper. Intensification of the control by international giant companies of value added chains «catch - processing - sale of end-product» is marked. Author offered such measures of the organization competitive fishing business as creation and use of the Russian national standards of fish certification and fish audit, strengthening and development of interaction of the industry and science in strategic marketing and introduction of innovative projects.
