The article examines the main characteristics of the sovereign wealth fund of the Saudi Arabia. Special attention is made to the functioning of the Agency SAMA. Also the author has examined the main directions of the economic development of this country. Also the author has presented the statistics and the main indicators of the economy of this country, including the oil prices dynamics analysis. In order to conclude, the author makes conclusion about the character of the development of the Saudi Arabia.
