The paper is devoted to historical substantiation and description of seven archetypes of existence activity which provided Russia's beginnings, strengthening, and development, namely: the archetype of augmentation of kin, the archetype of rise of spirit, the archetype of arrangement of concord, the archetype of mastering the earth, the archetype of aspiration for will, the archetype of fidelity to deed, the archetype of adherence to honor. Since Russia's historical being was founded on the indissoluble unity of these and a row of other archetypes, their totality may be naturally called the existential code of Russia, and the memorable image of the existential code, retaining in the conscious and subconscious memory of the people, may be called the existential idea of Russia. The existential idea may be taken in the capacity of the basis of a national idea of The Country.

Keywords: goals of a Country, the national idea of Russia, archetypes of existence activity. existential code, existential idea, existential strategy
