Economic interests of Russia in the Caspian region

In article the various factors influencing balance of interests of Russia in the Caspian region are considered. The bilateral contradictions arising between the states of the Commonwealth of Independent States are analyzed. The basic directions of strengthening of an economic position of Russia in economic interaction with the states of the Caspian region are defined.
