In the conditions of the Russian economy changeover for the innovation way of development one of strategic resources is innovative small entrepreneurship which can ensure the effective mastering of technologies and the small-scale innovative production output. In the article the world experience of development and state support of this sector is examined. The major trends of Russian innovative small entrepreneurship are described.
