Building of a legal system of information activity of federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation

The article justifies the necessity for a deeper apprehension of the essence of information processes developing in the sphere of Russian public administration with an information society being formed in this country. The author highlights the actual systematic character of information activity executed by federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation headed by the Government of Russia. At that, however the author insists that the information activity system in public administration should acquire a legal status. In this context, in the author’s opinion, it is necessary to formulate and pass the Law “About information and information activity of federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation”.
