Methodological and practical issues of economic analysis of functioning of socio-economic systems of various levels, revealing the aggregates of the most important factors and evaluation of their differentiated qualitative impact on the resulting system parameters are considered. The expediency of using the method of isolated study of separate factors’ influence on the resulting indicator when revealing the most important of them is substantiated. It is shown that when making (analyzing fulfillment) of complex plans, development programs of enterprise (sector, region) quantitative influence of separate factors (measures) on the resulting indicator should be determined by turn according to the principle of “chain substitutions” according to the planned (actual) chronology of concrete measures realization.

Keywords: economic analyses, the method of isolated study, the method of “chain substitutions”, rational application fields
