Improvement of planning and prognostication of development of economy as the necessary condtion of its modernization

In conditions of world financial crisis the modernization of planning and prognostication system of economic development gains special currency. Effective system of planning and prognostication makes it possible not only develop trustworthy economic forecasts, but also in proper time improve the short-term, medium-term and long-term plans and programs of development. The experience of foreign countries in the question of forming of effective system of planning and prognostication was studied in the article, positive aspects of foreign systems were revealed. The conclusion that there are no reliable and effective system of planning and prognostication in Russia was made. A number of measures of modernization of Russian system were offered.
