Configuration of regional economic scope in Russia

There is a prevalence of administrative and territorial zoning principle in modern regional economic system. Due to this principle, business service irregularity takes place and obstacles of integration processes usually appear. Spatial economic regional modeling requires efficient definition of economic scope, which defines regional economic interests and extent of influence on the forming, distribution and use of economic resources. The introduction of a new approach to defining and consolidating the regional economic scope status enabled to increase regional economic entities and markets spheres of influence as well as efficiently develop cooperation connections.
