Role of self-sufficiency of agrarian territories in maintenance of food safety of the country and regions

In clause it is offered to consider concept "self-sufficiency" with reference to agrarian territories from two sides - as a whole as bases of steady development and as way of maintenance of food safety of region and country. Quantity indicators of food safety on the basis of which the estimation of her level for the Russian Federation and the Chelyabinsk area is carried out are revealed. The carried out analysis has shown, that the level of food safety should be estimated on the basis of the complex parameters describing self-sufficiency, economic availability of the foodstuffs and conformity of structure of consumption to rational medical norms both for the country as a whole, and for separate regions.
