The partnership Russia - EU is the integral element of the European safety. The aspiration to safety, as it is known, initially served as the main stimulus to association, to integration into Europe and remains at a present stage of the all-European process by a necessary condition for cooperation and prosperity on all continental space without dividing lines, old or new. The problem of interdependence of the European economic safety and Russia is analyzed. The basic problems of economic safety of Russia in the conditions of EU expansion are shown. The cooperation problem in sphere of safety of EU and Russia is put.
