The article deals with one of the most crucial directions in modern administrative reform in the Russian federation - standardization and regulation of state and municipal services at the level of the subjects of the Russian federation. The regional experience in standardization and regulation of public services has been described. Measures aimed at their effective implementation have been introduced.
