The Place of the Production Sector in the Development of a Region

The article provides analysis of the structure, organization and process of the development of the production sector. The goal is to specify its role and place in the regional economy. The article discusses elements of the production sector and defines their interrelations. Within the problem factors were identified which have a detrimental effect on the overall development of the regional production sector.
