The article is devoted to one of the most urgent problems of external economic and political activity of Russia: country’s joining WTO negotiations. The author analyses the current negotiations phase and studies probable consequences for the country’s financial sector, as well as provides forecasts for the country’s economy development. The article highlights the problems of national interests’ maintenance, reviewing the example of financial sector defend. The author compares the experience of different countries that have already joined the WTO.
