Insurance as a ensuring mechanism of economic security of Russia

Economic security ensuring consists in establishing of protection mechanism against internal and external threats. In this connection the relevance of insurance consideration as one of the most effective tools of risk management increases. The review of the categories of "risk", "danger" and "threat", the analysis of the risk theory and the role of insurance in the national security system formation are highlighted in the paper.
