The article revealed the problem of food security in Russia, reflects the role of poultry in ensuring the country population available protein products. Investigate the situation on the world market of poultry meat, the analysis of customs and tariff regulation of imports of meat to Russia. The directions of development of poultry and defined measures of state support for the industry to ensure food security.
