Assessment of the economic potential subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District and its feasibility

The article raises questions assessing the economic potential of regions of the North Caucasus federal district. Generalization of differential rates of existing resource and production capacity is held by calculating the ratio of integral evaluation of the further ranking subjects according to the degree of decrease of its value. Denoted the probability towards modernizing the economy troubled parts of Southern Russia.
