Investment climate in the Volgograd region: trends and growth opportunities

We analyze the investment climate of the Volgograd Region in 2001-2009 years. Here is shown in the dynamics of rankings of the investment potential and risk and studied trends in economic development of the Volgograd region in comparison with other regions of "2B". We conclude that the scale of investments in the region does not correspond to the needs of regional economies and insufficient to ensure sustainable economic growth. This trend is a threat to the socio-economic development of regions on.
