Region as the big social and economic system

In connection with the importance of meson level of the organization of economic relations of investigation of region as a single integrated economic-social system is very actual. In the work the properties of the system are defined, the stages of region life cycle are emphasized. The conclusion is drawn that the regional programs, the organizational schemes of their realization, the phased actions, the means and methods of resource support should be interconnected in an existential continuum. The mission, the characteristics, the functional maintenance and the basic directions of regional social and economic policy are defined.
