In article technological and economic potentials of minifactories are investigated. The coexistence of two sectors in an iron and steel industry is proved: industrial complexes with a full cycle of manufacture and mini-millov, the basic raw materials for which is the breakage of ferrous metals. The urgency gives to a theme that the next decade specific productivity of arc furnaces and cars continuous разливки steels will raise.
