Hydrocarbon resources of the Caspian Sea have appeared on stake in the big politics game not only regional imperious elite, but also leading world powers. It is important also that the Caspian region along with the Near-Eastern countries and Russia can become one of the basic suppliers of hydrocarbon resources to Europe and China, after a predicted exhaustion of open deposits. The Caspian region is proclaimed a vital zone of national and corporate interests of Russia.
