Setting the Strategic Priorities in City Development

The article summarises different approaches to forming mission and targets of social and economic progress in the given city, highlights main aspects necessary to account for while developing strategic progress priorities. It describes principles of dividing the target into sub-targets and forming the targets tree. Much attention is paid to description of the formulated by the author principles of vertical and horizontal integration of the planning targets.
