The article demonstrates priorities of economy progress in Russia, analyses options of priorities planning on regional level, and studies common troubles of strategic management of forest industry progress in the Russian Federation. The authors offer analytical conclusion to the Russian Forest Industry Development Programme, explain their concept of strategic development priorities with the concept of neo-industrialisation in Russia as a start point.
