Economic relations of many countries and economic entities are focused on the neighboring countries and regions. The study of the future of Russian-Ukrainian economic relations at the regional level becomes more urgent in terms of the emerging role of regional authorities in pursuing social and economic policy at the local level. Among other things this role shall lie in developing complex programs of regional development and solving current operational issues
