The quality of Russian economic research depends on the chosen object and subject thereof. Unfortunately Russian economics of today has no clear view of the latter. The object of the research is relations between the subjects meant to intensify the economic cooperation efficiency. Only this diagnosis of the situation of choosing a research object can ensure innovativeness of economic thinking.
