Key determinants of innovative transformation of social and economic systems in the contemporary context

The article deals with the key determinants and the conditions facilitating the implementation thereof for the purpose of ensuring transformation of social and economic systems in the context of the aggravating globalization caused by the global financial turmoil. The authors also suggest the ways to set regional economies to innovative development as well as the main steps of the national innovative system. Furthermore the authors draw our attention to the issue of joining the globalization processes and its causing varying interpretations.
