If any economical project yields favorable results in the short run causing the expansion of production and employment rehabilitation and in case local authorities sees no ecological implications within the horizon period, the project can be approved though long-term negative consequences are yet to come. Unfortunately there are still those who believe that environmental issues can be postponed until the society grows richer.
