The article deals with the want of the common currency area in CIS. The latter as well as common currency adoption thereafter are reported to be inevitable as restricting national currencies fluctuation, contributing to the development of commercial and economic relations as well as to efficient capital flow from one country to another, and promoting economic development on the whole.
