Subject. This article discusses the impact of Master's degree education on the employment rate of graduates of Russian universities.
Objectives. The article aims to obtain an empirical assessment of the impact of Master's degree education on the employment rate of graduates of Russian universities.
Methods. For the study, I used the methods of statistical analysis, including a regression analysis and panel regression with random effects.
Results. Based on the panel regression with random effects, the article assesses the effect of Master's degree on the employment rate of graduates. It finds that Master's degree education increases the employment rate by 7 to 10.5% on average, for women, the effect of influence is higher.
Conclusions. The results of the study show that the Master's degree gets adapted to the labor market demands successfully. Having a Master's degree has a significant positive effect on the likelihood of employment.
