Corporate sustainability management through the formation of an organizational mechanism for structural adaptation

Importance The article discusses the issue of ensuring the sustainable operation of the entity in the changing and uncertain environment. Timely adaptation to such changes can become one of the ways to cushion the adverse effect.
Objectives The research focuses on the way how sustainable operations and development of the entity can be ensured.
Methods The research relies upon methods of systems analysis and the theory of constraints.
Results We reviewed types of external uncertainty and analyzed possible paths to form respective adaptive structures of the entity and formulated requirements to them. The article presents approaches to creating the organization mechanism for adaptation, requirements and principles the entity should adhere to. We also emphasize the importance of analysis in managing corporate adaptation.
Conclusions and Relevance Based on adaptivity optimization, corporate sustainable management implies the formation of the organization mechanism for adaptation that would allow to comprehensively handle internal developments of the corporate environment, which were induced by external uncertainty and changes.
