The real estate market research during the economic crisis

Importance The research examines the construction sector and the real estate market.
Objectives The research aggregates fragmented data in public sources so to gather as much information as needed to better understand trends in the real estate market during the economic crisis, from global and national perspectives, forecast further development trajectory and probable real estate implications for businesses and the public.
Methods Using the statistical method, I reviewed aspects of the way the crisis influenced the real estate market.
Results The article presents analytical data reflecting real estate indicators globally and nationally, and highlights possible trends and forecasts.
Conclusions and Relevance The residential property sector development is coupled with an increasing social differentiation. Business responds to the crisis by accelerating the commissioning of residential properties and reducing volumes of new construction projects. The findings may be useful for further researches and as recommendations for banking institutions, developers and real estate agencies.
