Importance The article deals with the economic aspect of the concepts of cooperation and agro-industrial integration, specifying the types and features. Objectives The article aims to assess the development of cooperation and integration of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) of Russia and determine the prospects for further development. Methods The article uses the methods of comparative analysis, systematization, classification, and analogy. Results Our work is a comprehensive overview of the concepts of cooperation and integration in the agro-industrial complex. It provides an opportunity to identify the main types and dignity of agricultural integration and cooperation. Conclusions We conclude that at the present stage of development, the Russian economy can implement the interests of agricultural producers fully, if using cooperation and integration more efficiently.
