The article considers that the interaction of the monetary and budgetary policies presupposes the existence of common goals, mutual influence and mutual dependence of instruments for regulators - the Central Bank and the Government. Based on this assumption, the author discusses the method of interaction evaluation in which empirical evidences of such links are formalized in the coefficients and their average value allows determining the essence of monetary and budgetary policies and character of mutual relations between them.
